Rebranding a modern-British restaurant just off fashionable Carnaby Street, London.
This quirky restaurant is named in tribute to the delicious mash served up by the owner’s mother with a focus on delivering fresh, nutritious and uncomplicated British food.
RSD was asked to design the brand identity, signage, menus and website to appeal to Carnaby Street’s community of creative workers, residents and shoppers.
Paying homage to the old east end pie and mash shops, RSD delivered quirky branding inspired by old Victorian graphics, complementing Mother Mash’s tongue in cheek attitude. The bright green background gives the restaurant great impact on a busy street.
The website was built using WordPress and works seamlessly across desktop and mobile devices. It features beautiful food photography, editable menu listings, Open Table reservations and contact form.

“It was a pleasure working with Rick. He made the whole design process nice and easy and showed a real passion for design. It was great to find a designer who could take care of all our design requirements from logo, signage, menus and website. We’ve noticed a significant increase in customers since our new website and branding was launched. Many thanks Rick !
